Our Point of View
The name Ikorodu reflects our connection to Nigeria and West Africa. We curate and source distinctive materials, Nigerian and West African art, handcrafted objects, rich woods, and sculptural forms that add history and cultural depth. Chosen in conversation with the architecture and the client’s own story, these pieces help a home feel connected rather than simply decorated.

At the heart of Ikorodu Interiors is the creative partnership between Angela and Angele—affectionately known as The A Team.
Together, they bring two generations of experience, complementary perspectives, and a shared appreciation for beautiful, highly livable environments. Their collaboration draws on a family history of real estate development, property improvement, design, and gracious living.
Design & Editorial Advisor
Angela brings a seasoned perspective shaped by her family’s longstanding involvement in real estate development and by residential and commercial properties in the United States, the Caribbean, and West Africa.
She advises on design direction, materials, furnishings, color, spatial flow, and project storytelling—helping ensure that each space feels considered, cohesive, and enduring.
Principal Designer
Angele founded Ikorodu Interiors to create spaces that feel elevated, expressive, and genuinely personal. Her work combines architectural foundations with rich color, texture, natural materials, distinctive art, and unexpected details.
As Principal Designer, she leads the client experience from initial concept through the curation and sourcing of materials and art, coordination, installation, and final styling. Her collaborative, highly attentive approach ensures that every selection contributes to a home that feels personal, connected, and complete.
